When a group comes in, there is something to settle before the menu: the exact number of people, the arrival time, the seating you want and the purpose of the meal. Tell us whether it is a work dinner or a get-together, and whether the focus is the food or the drinks, and we can guide you better.
Tell us the party size and arrival time first
Whether we can take a group, and how the seats are arranged, depends on the date, the time and the bookings already in place. Once your numbers are set, check the available times on CATCH TABLE and, if you need to, ask us about seating directly. Even where group seating is listed, it is not run the same way at every hour, so it is safer to check in advance.
Build the first order so everyone can share
With several people, we suggest ordering a range of textures to share rather than a lot of one cut. Keeping tender cuts such as thigh and neck, chewy ones such as gizzard and heart, and crunchy cartilage on the table makes it easy for everyone to find what they like. Taste them in the first round, then add more of whatever went down well, and the whole table is comfortable.
For a dinner gathering, a hot pot anchors the table
If the evening doubles as dinner, add one of motsunabe, torinabe or Kanto-style sukiyaki nabe. Sharing a warm broth between rounds of charcoal grilling keeps the gathering flowing naturally. The right quantity depends not only on the number of people but also on the other dishes and appetites, so rather than a fixed formula, let us work it out together on the day.
We think about the journey there and back too
We are about 300m from Exit 1 of Sinyongsan Station, and there is no dedicated car park. If everyone is setting out separately, it is easier to share the location in terms of public transport. If the dinner is likely to finish late, check that day's closing and last-order times first. We will do what we can to keep the evening running smoothly.
Frequently asked questions
From how many people can we book as a group?
The number we can take and the seating arrangement depend on the date, the time and current bookings. Please confirm your numbers and then check with us directly.
How do we decide how many dishes to order for a group?
We suggest building a first order from skewers with different textures plus a hot pot, then adding more as you gauge appetites. We will advise on quantities when you order.
Is parking available for a group visit?
We do not have our own car park. Anyone driving should check the nearby public car parks in advance.
